    Cast size: 12+ ensemble

    Run-time: 2.15 hours

Background: Meet Jemilla and her tribe of stone-age pals. Every day, they work hard collecting nuts and berries. Every night, they take cover in their cave, hiding from the most fearsome predator alive... Snarl. When the tribe troublemaker, Zazzalil, goes out during a storm to test her latest invention, she stumbles upon the most important discovery in human history. It's one that will take her on a whirlwind journey from omega to alpha, as she becomes... the Firebringer

  • Audition Sign-up

Read the info packet linked above, in full, before signing up for an audition slot.

Out of respect for everyone’s time, we require all actors to sign up for an audition slot.

  • It is strongly recommended that all auditioners present the following components:

    1) Vocals:

    • Prepare a 32-bar selection from a musical theatre song in the style of the show that shows off your voice.

      • Ideally, pick something that shows off your range and acting ability while singing.

      • Please avoid singing a song from Firebringer.

    • For each of your songs, please come prepared with an instrumental/ karaoke track to sing against, either via a YouTube video (we can pull it up for you in the audition room) or an audio file on a device.

    2) Acting: Come to your audition prepared with one or both of the audition cuts for each character you wish to be considered for. We may ask you to cold read for additional characters. If you wish to read for more characters than audition time permits, inform us and we will allow an additional video submission if you desire.

    3) Choreography:

If you have any special skills (ie. tumbling, acro, etc), please let our audition panel know so you can showcase them.

Casting

Please note that auditioners are auditioning for a part in the show, not for a specific part. If there is only one part you are interested in or only one ensemble group you’re interested in being in (ensemble only, for example), please let us know on your audition sign-up form so that this information can be considered during casting. Casting emails will be sent out the week following auditions.
