Step 2: Submit a Background Check

For the safety of the children and families we serve, all volunteers must obtain and submit a Rhode Island Background Check. State BCIs can be obtained at the Attorney General’s Office in Cranston, RI, and cost about $5. For more information, see the RI BCI Website. A hard copy will need to be provided to us in order to qualify as a volunteer.
