Camp Description: Lions and tigers and campers, oh my! In this two-week camp, participants will prepare and perform a short play based on L. Frank Baum’s iconic novel, The Wizard of Oz, while learning about theatre and improv. At the end of the session, the campers’ work will be showcased for friends and family. All experience levels are welcome!
Please note: This production will be a stage play, not a musical.
Camp Session: 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday
Grades: 6-8
Cost: $350 per child. A $100 non-refundable deposit will be required to reserve your spot.
Pickup is expected promptly at the end of each day’s session. An additional $10 will be charged for each 15 minutes that pickup is delayed. After-hours care is available at $25 for the week from 4:00-5:00pm.
In running this in-person camp, we will be following current CDC and government health recommendations, which include:
Setting a participation cap
Requiring that participants and staff wear masks
Following social distancing guidelines
Cleaning of commonly-touched surfaces (ie. tables, door knobs, etc) repeatedly throughout the day
Providing individual materials to each participant to reduce sharing
